In addition to helping other professionals more effectively lead people to change, becoming an ACE Continuing Education provider can help you grow your business. Turn your expertise into a continuing education course focused on nutrition, exercise science, behavior change, strength training or another area.

GAINING ACE APPROVAL

In order to maintain the integrity of our continuing education offerings, we’ve put standards in place that your content must meet to gain ACE approval. For example, it must be within the scope of practice for ACE Certified Professionals and your distance learning course, live webinar, workshop or conference must be conducted in a structured learning environment. MEETING A HIGH STANDARD

ACE has always maintained a high standard for our certification programs, which hold accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. We also apply a high standard to our continuing education, and any education submitted by health and fitness professionals for ACE approval.

Getting Started

Before you get started, we ask that you review our Code of Ethics for continuing education providers, our policies and procedures, and the agreement you will need to sign in the event your course is approved, all of which you can access below. Once you’ve reviewed those documents, we ask that you create an ACE Business Account. Once you’ve created that account, you may start the application process online from your home page.

As an ACE Continuing Education Provider, you’ll be expected to provide high quality, up-to-date and scientifically sound content to professionals who turn to us for help building their expertise. To download our Code of Ethics, click here.

Provider policies and procedures

To ensure you maintain a high quality of education for the attendees of your course, webinar or workshop, there are a few key points you’ll need to incorporate. To download our Continuing Education Provider Policies and Procedures, click here.

Provider agreement

Once you’ve completed the application process, it typically takes about 30 days for our team to review your submission. If approved, you’ll be asked to sign our Continuing Education Provider Agreement. For a preview, you may download the agreement here.
