About

I have 38 years experience in the fitness industry and am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, an ACE Certified Orthopedic Exercise Specialist and an ACE Gold Certified Group Fitness Instructor. In 1978, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh as a Registered Dental Hygienist. My courses at the university included in depth training in the areas of anatomy, physiology, nutrition and public health. In September of 1985, I founded Fitness for Life, a company specializing in on-site corporate health and fitness programming. I had the opportunity to develop various programs based on the needs of each corporation. These programs included cardiovascular conditioning, step, muscle conditioning and strengthening, fitness walking, mini-Olympics, senior programming, sports specific training and stress management programs, in addition to various health and fitness related seminars. In 1995, Fitness for Life expanded to include programming within the community working with schools, townships and parks and recreation departments. Specialized Personal Training Programs were also added to the services through Fitness for Life. My goal is still the same as when I first founded Fitness for Life...helping others achieve and maintain a healthy active lifestyle through quality programs that respect individuality and encourage success in a friendly and fun environment.
