My goal is to inform the public, relating the aspects of good health through fitness how to improve the quality of life. It has been said, “if you have your health, you have everything”. Anyone with long term plans to lead a healthy active independent life style would benefit from participating in a properly designed fitness program. Regardless of age or goals, a properly designed training program can lead to a stronger healthier more productive life style. Depending on the design of the program, the short and long-term benefits of participating in a fitness program may include: improved cardio respiratory fitness, decrease in body fat, resting blood pressure, resting heart rate, improved cholesterol ratio levels of HDL and LDL. In addition, improved self-concept and well being, increase bone density, functional power, muscular endurance, local muscular strength, muscle mass and neuromuscular control.
