About

Chris has been playing soccer for over 20 years, has been coaching soccer for 7 years, and has been coaching Academy soccer for the last three years with Solar Soccer Club. Chris graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a BBS in Exercise Science where he also played soccer for 4 years. He served as a leader earning All-Academic Team 3 years, First Team All-Conference 2 years, and Second Team All-Conference 1 year. In his sophomore year he went on to win the ASC Conference Tournament and compete in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. He currently holds a USSF National "E" coaching license, a TRX training certification, and is Functional Movement Screen Certified. ​ Chris attended high school locally at Keller High School and was a 3 year varsity letterer playing under Jason Bates. Chris earned Second Team All-District honors in his senior season. ​ In his club soccer career, Chris competed with Solar soccer club for 7 years. Throughout that time period, he competed in Disney Soccer Showcase, San Diego Surf Cup, Score at the Shore, Dallas Cup, State Cup, and many others. He played on teams that won the San Diego Surf Cup, Score at the Shore, and was a finalist in the Dallas Cup. ​ Having played at some of the highest levels, he now enjoys sharing his passion and knowledge of soccer with young aspiring athletes. Lastly, Chris is a proud supporter of Arsenal Football Club, primarily because of their youth and senior level player development.
