About
Philosophy: I believe in developing a communication with clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses to develop a consistent training program, implementing Hi-Fit training principles. A philosophy that developed as a result of my own physical limitations caused by a spinal condition, and my efforts to correct it. Methods of Achieving My Philosophy Identify strengths, weaknesses and physical limitation to develop a Hi-Fit training program consisting of a three prong approach to exercise; 1) Strength training, the primary focus. 2) Stability training, stability through the core shoulders, hips, knees & ankles is critical to prevent injury. 3) Cardiovascular conditioning, achieved through strength training program. My program of pacing people between sets can challenge the heart and lungs similar (same as) to an aerobic workout. Client Base I have experience and enjoy working with; 1) New Clients that have never experienced weight training before. 2) Special interest such as; a) Women during Pregnancy b) Back Injury c) People being treated for Cancer d) Chronic Illness e) Back injury f) Injury and/or sports rehabilitation g) Cardiac and Respiratory Rehab h) Sports conditioning Experience and Credentials Certification as a Fitness Trainer - Human Performance through Emily Griffith Education Center. I studied courses in Exercise Physiology, Cardiopulmonary Exercise, Strength Training, Nutrition and Kinesiology. I am ACE Certified and also certified through the National Academy for Health and Fitness.
