Load Training: Using the ACE IFT® Model, Phase 3

In the third of four courses that delve deeper into the Functional Movement and Resistance Training component of the ACE IFT Model, health and fitness professionals will learn to safely integrate load training into exercise programs. Led by ACE Certified Professional Jay Dawes, the course will build on the foundation of stability and mobility developed in Phase I and the five functional movement patterns learned in phase 2. Explore how you can enhance physical capacity and specific muscle qualities, as well as improve body composition.
You will learn:
- To understand Phase 3 of the Functional Movement and Resistance Training component of the ACE IFT Model
- Importance of building on Phase 1 and Phase 2 exercises to avoid injury while adding load to a resistance training program
- How to plan safe and effective exercise progressions for clients training within Phase 3 of the Functional Movement and Resistance Training component
