In the second of four courses that delve deeper into the Functional Movement and Resistance Training component of the ACE IFT Model, health and fitness professionals will learn to use the five functional movement patterns to improve overall function. Led by ACE Certified Professional Jay Dawes, the course will build on the foundation of stability and mobility developed in Phase I and allow professional to gain insight on how to continue developing mobility within the kinetic chain. You’ll also learn to further challenge stability through a wide range of purposeful movements.

You will learn:

  • To understand Phase 2 of the Functional Movement and Resistance Training component of the ACE IFT Model
  • Importance of building on Phase 1 exercises by incorporating the five functional movement patterns
  • How to plan safe and effective exercise progressions for clients within Phase 2 of the Functional Movement and Resistance Training component

This was a terrible course. It was schizophrenic. The printed materials and the video had absolutely nothing to do with the quiz. Which I passed easily. The printed materials will be helpful in my practice but the video was confusing and poorly done.
