About

To problem solve for myself and family I became a personal trainer as part of a continuous life-long effort. Surely I know how hard it is to gain control over busy schedules, how we move, what we eat, and what we think. My program is designed to work with Mature Women in their 40s, 50s, 60s. I am especially interested in working with enterprising pre-baby boomers (1945-1940) and dynamic older women ... we came of age before Title IX (1972) and were socialized (by all aspects of society) to be wives, mothers, teachers, nurses, social workers, support staff and caregivers ... In short, we were expected to take care of every body but our body. Now as a group, Mature Women, no matter our circumstances, are dealing with bodies that are growing older and if we want to maintain our independence, physical mobility, mental wellness, and ward off (or manage) various diseases and conditions ... now is the time for us to focus on 'Our Body' (mind & spirit). I WORK WITH SMALL, SELF-ORGANIZED GROUPS: We come together for a contracted period of time (9-12 weeks) to Celebrate Our Life/Journey, Encourage and Support each other as we learn about muscle groups and restorative exercises to help our bodies deal with various health challenges. THE PRIMARY REASON FOR OUR COMING TOGETHER is to Study, Support & Share positive results that come from making Small yet Significant lifestyle changes.
