About
After more than 10 years as a professional dancer, fitness instructor and personal trainer, I decided earn my doctoral degree in Movement Science. My research focused on the beneficial effects of partnered dance on mobility in people with Parkinson Disease. I was able to conduct this research and design effective exercise programs for people with impairments because of my extensive teaching background and training in dance, cardio-fitness, resistance training, pilates and yoga. My interests lie in the development of fitness/movement programs that target deficiencies, and have high compliance through careful consideration of training schedule, particular exercises, and motivational factors.
