I am a registered nurse, and an ACE Certified Health Coach. I am certified as an instructor by the American Heart Association, and I am recognized by the Pennsylvania Board of Education as a Nurse Aide Instructor. I am former member of the United States Air Force where I served as a medical technician, and the Army Reserves, where I served in the Nurse Corps and as a member of the Weight Management Team. I have written health programs and instructed exercise and nutritional programs for the United States Army. In an effort to further my knowledge of fitness, I attended FITA (Fitness Instructor Training Academy) offer by LA Fitness. I've worked as a unit manager for a long-term care / rehabilitation facility, as a home care nurse and case manager for pediatric and adult clients, as a wellness consultant, and as a performance improvement consultant for several hospitals. I have a Doctorate in Health Administration and I am a Certified Improvement Advisor.
