Start your fitness career by becoming an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor, and prepare for the certification exam using ACE’s Online Diagnostic Practice Tests.

The Online Diagnostic Practice Test uses real exam questions (60 multiple-choice) taken from previous versions of the ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification Exam. The test format, difficulty level of the questions and the distribution of the topic areas are modeled after the ACE exam.

Giving you an idea of what to expect come exam day, the Online Diagnostic Practice Test provides immediate, informal feedback on potential performance as well as strengths and weaknesses. You will be referred back to specific pages of the ACE Group Fitness Instructor Manual to help pinpoint areas that likely require further study. In addition, you will be able to review test scores by question and topic area.

ACE recommends exam candidates take the practice test approximately 4-6 weeks prior to sitting for the ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification Exam. For further practice, ACE offers a second Online Diagnostic Practice Test with a completely different set of questions that will be useful for additional exam study preparation. When purchasing, you have the option to get version 1, version 2 or both.

Successful completion of this test does not guarantee that you will pass the actual ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification Exam, conducted by our third party testing agency. It is our opinion that the best predictor for success on the ACE exam is work experience.
