Who is it designed for?

Our Mind Body Specialty Certification is designed for health practitioners or fitness professionals of one-on-one or group classes who are searching for a more holistic approach to wellness to bring to their clients or patients. Wellness clinics, community centers and outreach programs can also use the specialty certification to help their employees more safely and effectively deliver classes at their facilities.

How do I earn one?

To earn a Mind Body Specialty Certification, you must review all of the components listed below and take the quizzes associated with the material. Although you may complete courses for any Specialty Certification, ACE will not recognize you as a Specialist unless you also hold a current NCCA-accredited certification or an equivalent professional credential. For a list of accepted pre-requisite credentials, click here.

After you complete all courses and quizzes, an ACE Specialty Certification and continuing education credits (CECs) will be uploaded into your My ACE account. Specialty Certifications do not expire, and the purchase price includes all materials and fees necessary to become a Specialist.

For health and fitness professionals, a Mind Body Specialty Certification is equivalent to 2.5 ACE CECs, 25.0 ACSM CECs, 1.9 NASM CEUs or 1.5 NFPT CECs.
