Nike Dri-FIT Cotton Men's Training T-Shirt

When it comes to fitness apparel, Nike is known for its high-tech fabrics designed to keep sweat away from the body. The Nike Dri-FIT Men’s Cotton Short Sleeve Tee is a basic, short-sleeved tee with reinforced seams at the neck and extra room in the armholes so movement is not hampered. Comprised of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, Nike’s signature Dri-FIT fabric is engineered to keep sweat away from the body, but this shirt performed no better than any ordinary cotton tee. Though well-made and available in a variety of colors, our reviewers did not feel this shirt warranted its high price tag; as one reviewer put it, “I expected more considering it was Nike.”

Given its poor sweat-wicking performance, this shirt, which runs true to size, may be more appropriate for low-intensity or leisure activities, such as walking.

What we liked:

• Well-made construction
• Extra room in armholes for maximum range of motion

What we didn't like:

• Despite the Dri-FIT label, this cotton shirt does not keep sweat away from skin
• Premium price for a basic tee shirt
