  • All CBT exams are proctored and cannot be taken on personal computers.
  • Due to limited seating capacity at CBT sites, exam dates and times are subject to sellout, so register early.
  • All CBT registrants must must hold current CPR and AED at the time of registration that is still valid on the selected exam date.

Computer-based Testing is a good choice if you want more flexibility in deciding when and where you take the exam. Many people find it more convenient to have options to sit for the exam throughout the year instead of on a limited schedule. You will also receive your results immediately upon completion of the exam; whereas with traditional paper & pencil exams it can take four to six weeks.
