As an Exercise Physiologist with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Pete creates and delivers fitness education programs to uphold ACE’s mission of enriching quality of life through safe and effective exercise and physical activity. He is one of the creators of the new ACE Integrated Fitness Training (IFT) model of exercise program design. Pete has a Master’s of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a Certified Personal Trainer with ACE and holds additional certifications and advanced specializations through the NSCA (CSCS), and NASM. Outside of his work responsibilities Pete coaches high school rugby and teaches group fitness classes.
I am a history buff — especially political and military history. It's fun to read about past events and to see the analysis of what decisions were made and why. I firmly believe that we can learn from history to avoid making mistakes in our day-to-day lives. I'm always reading about history: military, political and business; there’s nothing better than having some free time and getting a chance to lose myself in some good reading.
