Workshop Policies and Procedures
Late Registration Fee
If registering within 14 days of workshop start date, an additional $25 will be charged.
Hotel and Accomodations
ACE does not provide hotel and accomodation recommendations for our workshops. To search for a hotel in proximity to the workshop, try searching a site like www.hotels.com.
Refunds
The Heartsaver First Aid with CPR and AED Workshop, ACE Personal Trainer Practical Training and ACE Functional Training workshops are non-refundable programs.
Rescheduling
Any participant pre-registered with ACE who needs to reschedule their workshop date OR transfer to a different location will be subject to a $50.00 processing fee. ALL rescheduling or location requests for the Practical Training workshop MUST be approved by the ACE Program Specialist, no later than 10 days prior to the originally scheduled workshop date. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Transfer of Registration
Pre-paid participants may transfer their registration of the Practical Training workshop to a third party for a $100.00 fee.
Bad Weather
In the event of inclement weather, all workshops will be held as scheduled at the discretion of the American Council on Exercise. Pre-registered participants who are unable to attend their scheduled workshop date may reschedule without incurring any additional charges so long as their request is received 30 days from their originally scheduled date, along with proof of incident. In the event the American Council on Exercise chooses to cancel and reschedule the event due to bad weather, individuals will be notified of the rescheduled date and location.
Cancellations
In the event that the American Council on Exercise would cancel the workshop for any reason, a full registration fee refund will be issued to the participant. ACE is not responsible for any other expenses the participant may have incurred.
