The focus of the Yogabeat™ training is to teach group fitness instructors a combination of movements derived from Yoga, Tai Chi and dance. The movements and combinations required to teach Yogabeat™ are placed in a particular order that progresses as the class progresses. Thus, it is important to follow the order that is established for the class. These movements are then set and organized to music. Given the combination of Yoga, Tai chi and modern dance, Yogabeat is a fun successful class! The training will emphasize formatting a safe and effective class, with many of the movements organized from larger to smaller muscle groups. The importance of correct body alignment for all the moves and the value of stretching with modifications for various fitness levels will be taught. Our goal is to educate certified group fitness instructors on a new, fun, effective exercise routine while teaching them that they have choices in modifying the movement while achieving a safe class that is full of variety and excitement.
This program will be presented in an applied format so the participant can learn the moves and the flow of the class.
