This workshop concentrates on learning how to design a variety of cycling drills to create effective interval training for Group Cycling classes. You will learn how to structure intervals and the general criteria for training at high intensity exercise – are you working too hard or not hard enough? Understand the best way to monitor that intensity to get your desired results. You will learn tips to improve pedaling technique and specific drills designed to enhance strength, endurance, power and VO2Max. Drill intervals include accelerations, pyramid resistance progressions, speed work with jumps, lifts and sprints. In the end, you will finish with an extra Metabolic Finisher off the bike to give you the final total-body push. Get ready to pump up your heart, legs, and fat metabolism.
