Breath is magical. Every living thing breathes. This course will explore the human anatomy, physiology, and the health benefits of the Mind Body connection with Breath. Participants will explore the mechanistic, physiologic benefits, possible and researched healing qualities of different breathing techniques in movement and exercise. This exploration will start with tactile modalities and lecture. The students will then proceed to apply and compare various breathing techniques in everyday functional movement and progress into Pilates and Yoga movements. ??? Learn ways to integrate breath practices into your functional movement work with clients. Recognize the power of breath to connect you clients deeper into their bodies and hone your skills in presenting various breath techniques.
