This course will explore the definition, anatomy and function of what is commonly referred to as “the core” and how it relates to exploring our ideal posture. We will discuss exercise design and cueing to balance the relationship of our “inner” and “outer” core units. Explore "the core" through movements of yoga and Pilates repertoire. Through lecture and movement exploration gain both a functional and somatic understanding of our core and it’s relationship to how we move through everyday life. Learn tools to integrate cueing and awareness of the core to your clientele.
