Eating with the Seasons

Ancient healing philosophies state that our bodies are attuned to our external environment, the seasons of the Earth and the cycles of the Sun. Using the Chinese Five Element Theory this seminar will explore the interdependence and balance of the primary forces in Nature that reside within every Being. Their influences on the biological and psychological processes of the mind, body and soul will be examined. This course will discuss nutrition and lifestyle choices to live in harmony with the outer world and adapt to each changing season. By bringing awareness to Nature’s cycles, an opportunity is provided to understand its qualities, gain a sense of our innate potential and discover our true Nature.
