Extreme Interval Training

The goal of this course is to explain the fundamentals of interval training—a system that is based on repeated workloads interspersed with periods of rest to maximize training time and results. This course describes the physiology of interval training and demonstrates innovative training formats, including extensive, intensive, fartlek, pyramid, and ladder intervals with over 50 dynamic exercises and drills. These interval formats combine strength training, cardio conditioning, plyometrics, and functional movements that you can mix and match to create a challenging workout for your participants. Learn to bump up the intensity with these innovative and energetic exercises.
