“Small Group Training with Kettle Weight” is an introductory class that covers the history, rationale and methodology for kettle weight training to enhance general strength (improved muscular force production and joint stability) and conditioning (improved cardiovascular-cardio respiratory function) in a small group setting (3-6 people). The kettle weight structure, specific movement patterns, resistance and frequency of use are key factors that determine training adaptations. A fundamental understanding of integrated biomechanics will be covered. Corrective strategies and “points of focus” will be emphasized in order to enhance skill acquisition and participants’ ability to teach and develop safe and effective techniques.
