Anatomy Basics Workshop

The Anatomy Basics 10-hour workshop is designed to give fitness professionals a basic understanding of human anatomy and how it applies to STOTT PILATES and general fitness. Topics covered in the course include the spine, pelvis, knee, leg, shoulder and arm. Also covered are how the STOTT PILATES Five Basic Principles of Breathing, Pelvic Placement, Rib Cage Stabilization, Scapular Movement & Stabilization and Head & Cervical Placement. Students are also taught and practice a Postural Analysis that can be used to create an exercise program.
