Preventing falls in older adults is at the forefront of our national health care agenda. Research has shown that exercise programs can be key factors in preventing falls in older adults. The "Stay Active and Independent for Life" (SAIL) Program is an evidence-based intervention for prevention of falls in older adults. The SAIL Program includes a fitness class specifically designed for older adults. This course provides an in-depth training for potential SAIL Program Leaders, and enables attendees to establish and lead a SAIL Program in their community.
