Yoga for Healthy Aging

Aging is one of the inevitable aspects of the human experience. It would be wonderful if yoga prevented aging, though that would be wishful thinking. Yoga cannot prevent aging, though aspects of the yoga practice may help smooth out the process. As we look at the process of aging, there are aspects that consistently rob people of their autonomy. In this yoga workshop, we'll look at the four most common ways that seniors lose their freedom to live independently, and learn yoga-based techniques to help prevent them. By thinking about aging now, we may enjoy years, if not decades, more freedom and autonomy to travel, enjoy family, and reap the rewards of our hard work. Suitable for all levels of yoga students.
