This workshop will explore the anatomy and movement of the core muscles. The core muscles interact with each other and effect the performance of other muscles in the core. By understanding how the core muscle coordinate and function will allow trainers to apply and teach appropriate exercises for their clients/classes. Knowledge of anatomy of the core muscles leads to the ability to properly set up and align students thereby allowing them to access and engage the core strength effectively. Various disciplines, such as yoga and classic strength training, can be utilized to access the core. Efficient core stability allows centered execution of numerous exercises and various movements.
