Core Blast

Core Blast integrates some of our favorite training philosophies, techniques and class content. Smart core training, functional strength training and high intensity interval training come together to produce this amazing workout. Imagine Core meets F.I.T. meets No Limits Circuit. But, be careful not to blur the lines by letting this class become too much like one of these classes when you teach it. If you honor its unique identity, progression and template, you will be delivering a powerful combination unlike anything else we offer at Life Time. The Progression Strength ?Athletic Cardio ? Recovery • Strength: This phase of the class is comprised of either a core focused strength exercise or a sequence of core focused strength exercises. 1. Stability 2. Rotation/Lateral Flexion 3. Flexion/Extension 4. Multi Planar 5. Multi Planar 6. Multi Planar 7. Multi Planar (added if 60 minute format) • Athletic Cardio: It’s time to get the heart rate up to Zone 4 using athletic drills. • Recovery: It’s important to allow for proper active recovery to prepare for the next interval.
