People constantly exercise in ways that jeopardize their health and safety to attain short term goals. Classes are filled with instructors teaching choreography with little emphasis on what it takes for the body and muscles to execute them safely, properly and to ensure real progress. We teach proper implementation in every move. Instructors walk the floor doing assessments offering corrections to help students with what we call, “muscle acknowledgement,” which is simply putting the emphasis on the muscles the movement is designed to work. This creates a mind-to-muscle connection for the brain so it remembers the correct way to perform it each and every class.
