Cardiovascular Endurance Testing and Program Design

Cardiovascular endurance is one of the most important components of physical fitness and in the presence of cardiovascular risk factors such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes or coronary artery disease, the most important element of your clients' exercise program. It is also one of the most misunderstood and underused elements of personal training program. It is essential for all fitness professionals - personal trainers, group fitness instructors and health coaches to understand how to determine their clients' aerobic capacity and be able to prescribe an appropriate aerobic training program regardless of whether your client's goal is to lose unwanted fat, prepare for the 5k race or lower his or her blood pressure. The workshop is designed to teach you how to properly assess the cardiovascular endurance level using different modes of exercise and to apply the principles of cardiovascular endurance program design to help clients achieve results safely. Course Dates: September 4th, 7th, 11th and 14th, 7-9 pm, 2014 Location: 2747 E. Oakland Park Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33306
