Cardiorespiratory Conditioning for Multiple Populations is designed to equip fitness professionals with the tools, resources, and knowledge to successfully design cardiorespiratory programs for various groups. Throughout this course, participants will further their knowledge on the aerobic and anaerobic systems in the body and the role they play in enhancing one’s cardiovascular fitness. In addition, participants will be able to appropriately assess any contraindications that can hinder clients from increasing their cardiovascular fitness. This will be addressed through postural assessments, rating of perceived exertion, and HR monitoring. Finally, participants will address various heart rate zones and the importance each one plays in improving the cardiorespiratory system. From this, participants will be able to design and implement cardiorespiratory programs for all populations.
