Pilates is often taught and experienced in a group class setting. While this has many benefits there is also the challenge of personalized attention within these classes. This workshop will help address how to look at several of the major body positions that are within the Classical Pilates Mat-work to guide instructors and participants to understand optimal positioning. Whether the body is supine, prone, in flexion or extension, there are general guidelines that help each of us achieve the goals of an exercise within our individual bodies. By understanding these goals we are more efficient teachers and practitioners, which results in more strength and flexibility and success!
