Mobility 101

The first part of the course is going to outline and teach the trainers about the difference in stretching vs. tissue mobility and the appropriate time to use each one. The trainers will be taught the basics of soft tissue physiology and how the connective tissue influences muscle mobility and function. I will be covering tissue mobility for the, Hamstrings, Piriformis, Gastroc, Rhomboids, Teres Minor/Major, and the intersection of the Serratus Anterior/Lat/Subscapularis. The trainers will understand the functional anatomy of the structures. The trainers will be able to assess when tissue mobility work needs to be done, and how to describe and demonstrate it for their clients.
