Day 1 of this two-day course will give participants experience in learning and programming the basic skills for kettlebell swings, cleans, and various types of presses, as well as training in ballistic movements. In addition, participants will utilize these basic skills to develop kettlebell complexes, chains and advanced kettlebell grind programming techniques. Performance nutritionists from the EAS Academy will conduct sessions on nutrition for recovery and popular diets such as Paleo and intermittent fasting. Day 2 provides training (muscle activation, plyometric and other drills) on advanced techniques for body weight exercises such as the pistol (one-legged squat), handstand shoulder press, and variations of the pull-up and hanging leg raise. Nutrition sessions for this day include nutritional programming for lean body mass gains and a question and answer session to address the many questions that personal trainers and strength coaches often receive from their clients.
