The Fitness Onboard Certification (FOC) is a comprehensive two day stand up paddleboarding (SUP) fitness course designed by fitness professionals. The certification was developed to bridge the gap between fitness and the sport of SUP. The FOC provides instructors the tools necessary to achieve an all around safe & effective workout for its clients. The main focus of the FOC is to continue growing the sport of SUP by properly training students as it relates to exercise physiology & stand up paddleboarding. The design for the FOC is a direct result of the recent influx & popularity of SUP group fitness classes. At FITNESS ONBOARD™, we believe the foundation of program design is based on education of the human body, knowledge of paddle technique & exercise execution with an understanding of the key elements of great instruction. The emphasis of the certification is to teach instructors how to effectively better the quality of life of their participants. As a FOC instructor, you have the ability to teach your clients proper execution of individual exercises & paddle technique.
