The Importance of Developing and Training Functional Movement

This course is designed to give the participant a general overview of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) as well as the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and the relationship between them and the practitioners who use these assessments. The principles of movement will be reviewed and the exercise professional will have an increased understanding of the relationship between themselves, the medical professionals and the clients/patients. This course is designed to develop a stronger relationship between the individual caring for someone labeled as a “patient” and the individual training the “client”.
