Bouncing Back ~ An Introduction to the Risk of Impaired Personal Resilience

The MR 100 workshop "Bouncing Back" developed by Armed Forces Mission for the Master Resilience Institute seeks to encourage coaches and fitness professionals to become masters of resilience by learning the skills that can help others bounce back from the emotional, physical and mental challenges of life. MR100 introduces the student to local and national statistics on suicide. Detailed discussions are presented on the “Appearance Paradox”, Well-being – Resilience Paradox” and the “Gym Member Paradox”. Participants will reflect on their personal core values and examine the core values of the Master Resilience Institute: Resilience is fundamental to total well-being Resilience is a key to overcoming life challenges Resilience is encouraged by positive role models Resilience can be strengthened through exercise Resilience in individuals strengthens communities
