2014 Pierce College Strength and Conditioning Clinic

Fitness professionals with a passion in sports performance will find this event to be very valuable. One of the presentations will explain Olympic lifting progressions including program design and important coaching cues for the snatch, clean, and jerk. Another presentation will give insight into the most effective methods for training soccer players and will cover all aspects of training including strength, power, speed, agility, conditioning, recovery, and flexibility. Finally, attendees will get insight into how one coach designs an off-season phase focusing on power development. This event will also have two presentations that cover injury prevent methods and mobility techniques. Attendees will have a better understanding of current methods that are being utilized to enhance performance. Finally, every fitness professional will listen to a college professor speak on all things related to the biomechanics of squatting.
