Metabolic Makeover: Metabolic Training explains and demonstrates how personal trainers can advise workout programs that are geared towards maximizing benefits and minimizing time, while achieving serious results. Metabolic Makeover is a multi-phase program that utilizes minimal equipment (such as kettlebells, dumbbells, and a bench) - and focuses on driving the metabolic rate through an energy-deficit phase followed by a high-energy strength-speed phase. Although this training program is not for the faint of heart, it could be just what the personal trainer needs. Cardiovascular programming is also addressed within the scope of this workshop working congruently with the resistance training to give a well-rounded program for the fitness professional and their client(s).
