The focus of Laurence Chalip's session will be on the good intentions but potentially negative outcomes of early sports specialization on performance in young athletes and how multi-sport participation enhances athletic outcomes in the sport of choice.
Finally, Brett Bartholomew, from the elite training organization Athletes' Performance, will conduct a 2.5hr hands-on session demonstrating new techniques to teach various athletic skill movements.
A panel discussion will be held at the end of the day to field questions from the participants.
