Unilateral Stabilization Training for Golfers

Introduction to using offset loads with clients to incorporate the transverse plane with isotonic resistance during golf movement pattern-based exercises for professional trainers and small group exercise instructors. Demonstration, explanation of exercise benefits, exercise selection for specific populations, contraindications, and sequencing will be covered. Teaching methodology for each exercise will be covered, including spotting techniques and appropriate resistance selection for the client. Fitness professionals will be able to incorporate exercises taught in this workshop to their repertoire to add a challenging and exciting methodology into their functional exercise programming for their golf-playing clientele.
