The CORE Instructor Foundation course will provides an introduction to group fitness and personal training theory and their application to program development. This program effectively brings together the worlds of core conditioning and athletic training with established body awareness principles. Effective program design relies on consideration of a broad range of concepts for training, and a complete understanding of the application of these theories. In order to bring a more thoughtful approach to the work, a series of stabilization principles will be examined and correlated with standard teachings. A number of props will be used throughout the course to demonstrate and explore the foundational principles as well as be incorporated in a Circuit Training program. This is a 7 hour in-class training (plus one-hour break); no prerequisites are needed, but some personal training and/or strength and conditioning experience highly is recommended.
