High Intensity Intervals: Putting oomph into your effort

This 4-hour course introduces the participant to the principles of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). The course will start with a review of the science and principles behind this training methodology. Participants will learn how to apply HIIT principles by creating and presenting a sample class, as well as how to add intensity to their existing class designs. The course includes two workouts, allowing participants to experience both a low-impact HIIT class and a high-impact HIIT class. Participants will also experience HIIT moves featuring a variety of props and multiple modalities (e.g. using a Step, Kettlebells, dynabands, medicine balls, tubing, etc.).
