Fitness trainers see many middle aged clients with weight management and hormone and age related concerns. Most trainers have not taken in depth nutrition courses that emphasize a whole food, whole person approach. Clients are often suggested to take dietary supplements that are expensive and of varying quality with little benefit. This seminar will teach trainers to develop a foundation of diet, lifestyle and attitude on which to support safe, and lifelong hormone regulation and adaptation during menopause. Emphasis on scope of practice and standard of care will be presented so that trainers are not ‘treating symptoms’ rather than educating clients for improved self care.
