Learn the major joints of the body through which major improvement in clients’ movement can be achieved. Know key assessment tools to watch body movement and recommend exercises based on observations. Understand how key joints can move in the sagittal, frontal and transverse plane and know when this is appropriate and when strategies can be recommended to improve specific movement in specific planes. Be able to recommend key exercises as part of program structure- take clients through a progression of movement patterns once basic assessment screens have been completed. Know how to adjust the intensity/difficulty of movement screens to accommodate specific abilities of each client.
