Over the last decade, Yvette Goree-Harris has emerged as one of the most innovative personal trainers and effective event speakers in the fitness industry. Yvette Goree-Harris, Certified Personal Trainer and Motivational Speaker specializes in women’s health and fitness – cardio, strength training, body sculpting and working with seniors for function, strength and independent living. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise, a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, Wellness Council of America, Houston Wellness Association, the IDEA Health & Fitness Association and she is a board member of the National Kidney Foundation. Yvette has worked in the fitness industry over 26 years and has trained at the Super Resorts in Negril, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, Jamaica. She facilitates workshops on health, fitness and wellness in corporate, religious and private sectors. In 1998, she founded the “Fill Your Cup First” Fitness & Spa Retreat for Women. Yvette is dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for her clientele and the community through positive lifestyle changes that include exercise, motivation, education and good nutrition. A dynamic speaker who brings optimism and energy to her workshops and seminars, Yvette’s goal and purpose is to inspire the world to fitness. She provides an online personal training program along with a bi-monthly newsletter “Yvette’s Get Fit Newsletter”, she established the very successful G.U.M.B.O. Boot Camp (Get Up & Move Your Butt Operation). When she is not involved in church and community activities, Yvette spends time with her loving husband of 37 years, Robert Keith Harris, four grown children and their families that include six grandchildren.
