With 22 years in the fitness industry, my work is with both special populations, including Older Adults (my eldest being 105!), to the opposite end of the spectrum, 20-30 years old, body builders, athletes, etc. I also teach youngsters and teens. First and foremost, I inquire as to any pre-existing conditions. This is what determines the direction of my session/class. I work closely with my students' and clients' health care providers ranging from surgeons to physical therapists to chiropractors, accupuncturists, OB/GYN, etc. I understand how to work with medications. I teach a very athletic style of yoga which burns fat, increases endurance and stamina, and benefits flexibility. Along with Hatha Yoga, I also teach pre-natal yoga, both athletically, and restoratively, depending upon the client's needs and desires.
