I am a Turkish Citizen and live in Istanbul. I am 40 years old, married with two kids. My academic training and most of my professional work has been on Clinical Psychology and areas of applied psychology. While working as a Family and Couples Therapist, I have also taken courses on Organisational Behavior, Group Therapy and enrolled in Doctorate level courses on areas related to clinical psychology. A year ago, I have decided to expand my area of profession into the area of physical well-being by integrating my passion for fitness and dance. I work now as a certified Zumba (R) Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer as well. By applying my knowledge and skills as a psychologist, and my experience as a fitness professional, I feel myself most useful to people who ask for my assistance and guidance. I hope to help other fitness professionals improve in their careers as well, by sharing with them the knowledge that resides in the cross-section of these two areas of study. I also continue my professional work as a psychotherapist and as a consultant in the new and exciting area of neuro-marketing.
I believe life is what I make of it and I am determined to enjoy every step of the process.
