Hello! I am an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. My background in fitness began over 20 years ago as I entered the world of martial arts. Even though I was the smallest, shyest member of the class I excelled in training and ultimately entered competitions and became an instructor myself. Taking what I learned from competition training and my professional certifications, I created The Higher Edge Fitness, which focuses on circuit and interval style classes to get the maximum amount of workout in the least amount of time. My classes are kept small so that I can personalize each person’s exercise experience. My goal is to make working out feel fun and doable. What I've learned over the years is that everyone has the ability to be physically active. The key is finding where your abilities are and nourishing them.
