About
Amy thinks of herself as a modern day “I Love Lucy” where every day provides opportunity for hilarity and embarrassment to her husband of 15 years and their 3 children – 11 years, 8 years and 4 years. Her passion for fitness has been evident from her childhood when she danced for the St. Louis Ballet Company all the way through to her college years as a member of the spirit dance team. In her day, she could do a mean high kick. Amy has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from William Jewell College and a Masters degree from Texas Christian University. While attending TCU, she worked in the Campus Life Department and proudly wore the color purple every Monday. Amy’s zest for health really took hold as her 20-year high school reunion ominously approached. In pursuit of a lean and youthful physique she hired a personal trainer and there her interest in exercise ignited! If life weren’t crazy enough with three kiddos, Amy serves as a PTA Executive Board member at her children’s elementary school, a women’s senior council layperson at First Baptist Church Colleyville and a neighborhood association constituent. Amy is a devoted fitness groupie turned into an ACE fitness instructor. She proudly calls Lifetime Colleyville home.
